Garry Edward "Butch" SadlerJune 22, 1950 ~ December 15, 2017 (age 67)
Garry Edward (Butch) Sadler, 67, of Naples, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 15, 2017. He was born in Grove City, PA on June 22, 1950, to Ethel and James Sadler, and moved to Naples in 1961 where he began working at his father and grandfather's lawn business. He was a 1968 graduate of Naples High School. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the Air Force, serving from 1969-1973. He then began a boat building career working for his uncle at Morgan Boats. In 1980 he went into business for himself, Butch's Marine and Welding Service, which he maintained until his death. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Golden Gate. Butch was an avid outdoorsman, but his greatest passion was spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patricia Henry Sadler; his son James (Alicia) Sadler; two daughters, Tammy (Charlie) Beaird and Dawn (Brad) Turner; nine grandchildren: Victoria, Katelyn, Rachel, Kiannah, Layne, Mason, Logan, Morgan and Payton; two brothers, Kenny (Tara) Sadler and Eddie Sadler; one sister, Darla Cassin; and a large extended family.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 21, at 6:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Golden Gate, 2741 Santa Barbara Blvd., Naples, 34116, with Pastor Bob Boelk officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
