Betty Burbage Arthurs, 92, of Bradenton, FL passed away at home, surrounded by loved ones, on September 14, 2020. She was born April 28, 1928 in Berkeley County, South Carolina to Cleve and Annie Burbage.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Steve) Avant of Rockingham, NC, Christine (Jack) Reynolds of Altamonte Springs, FL and Nancy Elmore of Bradenton, FL; grandchildren, Paul (Nikki) Davis, Tammy (Adam) McInnis of Rockingham, NC, Jacqueline (Stephen) Petty of St. Augustine, FL, Jennifer and Jessica Reynolds of Nashville, TN, Emily Elmore of Bradenton, FL and Will (Sammi) Elmore of Kissimmee, FL; great-grandchildren, Michael (Brittani) Davis, Tabitha Reeves, Cailey Davis and Toby McInnis all of Rockingham, NC, Harrison and Hallie Petty of St. Augustine FL; and great-great grandchildren Braxton, Maverick, and Emma and her brother Hugh (Barbara) Burbage. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cleve and Annie Burbage; husband, John R. Arthurs and brothers, Cleve Burbage Jr., and Harry Burbage.
A memorial service celebrating Betty's life was held Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at First Christian Church, 1815 18th Ave. West, Bradenton, FL.
