Beatrice "Bea" M. CoanesAugust 5, 1919 ~ June 13, 2017 (age 97)
Bea, formerly of Spring Hill, FL and Saginaw, MI, was born in Saginaw. She spent her childhood there where she met and married Jack Coanes with whom she raised two children; Patti and Jerry. Bea and Jack enjoyed an active life together raising children, traveling, remodeling and selling homes along with running the Ranch House Restaurant and Embra Bar in Saginaw before retiring to Naples, FL. Bea and Jack were some of the first residents of Naples and helped friends build their homes as well as taking part in the building of Hope Lutheran Church of Bonita Springs. She was always giving of herself and became "Aunt Bea" to many, many children over the years. Wherever she lived she always had time to help the little ones and give lots of love, hugs and kisses. She will be missed as she touched so many lives during her time here. Bea and Jack moved to Spring Hill in 1998 to be closer to family and friends. After Jack passed away, she spent a few years on her own in Spring Hill before moving in with her grandson, Troy Perry, in Bonita Springs, FL.
Bea was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Jack; her daughter, Patricia Coanes Willis; her parents, Harold and Ruby Frost; and brother Lyle Frost.
She is survived by her son, Jerry (Faye) of Indian River, MI; son-in-law, Tim Willis of Tallahassee, FL; grandson, Troy Perry of Bonita Springs, FL; six other grandsons; twelve great-grandchildren; and an adopted family, Debbie, Angie, Olivia, Jenda, Laurie, Janet, Taylor and Michael.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Muller-Thompson Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Naples Memorial Gardens.
