It is with a heavy heart that we all mourn the passing of Alicia Woods. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister and friend. Alicia grew up in Naples, FL. She was an avid swimmer and held a state record while she attended Barron Collier High School. She graduated from The University of South Florida in Tampa with a degree in Neuroscience. After graduating she started a family and moved to Ohio. Alicia loved her sons and they are a direct reflection of her. She enjoyed many hours of volunteering at her their schools and in doing so she made a tremendous impact on many young lives. She was a caretaker; she loved everybody and was truly selfless. Friends would describe her as genuine, compassionate and witty. She had a smile that could light up a room.
Alicia leaves behind her three sons, Carson, Tucker and Logan Woods; mother and step-father, Lucy and Bill Orr; father, Tony Cardiello; sister, Celeste Cardiello Poland; aunt, Edith and niece, Lilian Poland. She also leaves her fiance' and his daughter, Fred Schafter and Olivia and their four-legged children, Dexter and Chloe.
Although her passing was sudden, it was peaceful as she was surrounded by the people who loved her. Alicia was an organ donor and in doing so she is saving the lives of eight people. If you are not an organ donor please consider it as a tribute to the selfless person Alicia was.
